RENGEN TRADING CC was formed in 2008 with the intent of trading in fuel and general commodities in the retail sector. The latter has been business since 2009 and the trading commenced in 2014 specialising in export of speciality products ie Avgas, LPG, HFO and Solvents. Our goal would be improving the efficiency of the petroleum products value chain in South Africa through the sourcing and distribution of petroleum products to bulk consumers.

Company Objectives

The company’s long-term (5-year) objective is to provide a comprehensive supply-side solution to industrial users of petroleum products incorporating strategic storage infrastructure, product sourcing, trading and strategic inventory management.

The company’s short-term (3-year) objective is to function as a wholesaler of petroleum products by sourcing and distributing the entire spectrum of petroleum products at the lowest possible price while ensuring adequate security of supply.

Company Structure

RENGEN TRADING is made up of previously disadvantaged black South Africans and its 2 main members are Renaldon Naidoo and Logambal Naidoo. Both hold 50 % each of the business.

Rengen Trading is a business specialising in niche product supply covering Avgas (bulk and drums ) , Jet A1 (bulk and drums), chemicals HFO and LPG .We can also offer transport for bulk and do shipping if required . We have a network of service providers with whom we work closely.

Phillip Naidoo is operations manager for Rengen trading and has incredible knowledge of the petroleum industry having worked for BP for more than 28 yrs and having come from a refinery background he covered supplies to Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi Zimbabwe and Mozambique, Nigeria and Angola.

He has in-depth knowledge of supply chain management, logistics and trading. He has also established good relationships with the larger oil majors.

Rengen has approvals at Engen, Air BP, Total Geneva, BPSingapore ,Oryx Gas and Vitol . We would what one can call a "one stop shop"
